Introduction of 'base-beta3' to handle the era2003 meteo produced for the GEMS project. New features:

• Option to retrieve ecmwf meteo from mars during meteo setup.
  Input of grib files has been extended to be able to handle the retrieved meteo.
• Support input of archived convective fields.

Recovery operation after complete mess up of the TM5 base version on the cvs server ...

After the recovery, the following versions are available:

proj/base-alfa1	base stored on the cvs server BEFORE recovery operation; contains a not compiling mixture of pre and post beta2 code
proj/base-beta2	beta2 version originally commited as new base at 30-12-2005, plus bug fixes from januari 2006

The following improvements are included:

• Meteo processing from TMPP is included in TM5.
• Support of NCEP anc MSC meteo data.
• Optionally temporal interpolation of meteo fields.

This revision makes the source project 'base-beta2' obsolete.

If you start using this new base version, bring your own source projects in agreement with the base!

Major revision.

• Addaptive time stepping based on cfl
• Second moment advection re-introduced.
  See section 7.2.
• Input and output paths are read from rcfile.
• TMkit modules included in base.
• Improved run scripts:
  • Run can be stopped and resubmitted at the end of every month or some number of days.
  • New optim choices for making: 'check' and 'vfast'.
  • Source code is copied to 'optim' depended directories; this allows quick switching between 'fast' and 'debug' compilation.
  • Optional arguments to clean the source code before compilation.
