Background
The World-Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has started, as part of its Semantic Web activity, a new working group to develop a web ontology language (see http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/WebOnt/). The second meeting of this group will be held at CWI in Amsterdam on April 8-9. Ontoweb and SIKS have taken this opportunity to organize a master class on the logical foundations of the semantic web. The two invited speakers are members of the working group and experts in this field.Preliminary Program
