INTRODUCTION

On April 22, 2008, a half-day symposium will be organized in Nijmegen under auspices of SIKS (the Dutch research school for Information and Knowledge Systems). The goal of this symposium is to present research on conceptualization processes. The speakers will, each from their own perspective, deal with the interplay that exist between experiencing and knowing reality. Especially SIKS-phd-students working on the topics adressed in the symposium are strongly encouraged to participate.
