Abstract:
The idea that mental processes are not to be dissociated from their larger  bodily and environmental context is nowadays very much in vogue. 
In the talk, I will introduce the main ideas and subsequently discuss the implications of the embodied approach to understanding mental processes as well as some of the major problems that it faces.
