Every year it turns out that there are teachers and students with unexpected talents. This year, one of the PhD student, Marius, also showed his talent in creating funny ties. As usual, Hilmar also gave his famous Tango lessons, which were enjoyed by the majority of the students and some of the teachers.

Some students also participated to a table tennis tournament on the very last day.

On Friday the 19th we had our last dinner in the Goldenen Roze. Of course we could not leave Karthaus without saying goodbye properly. So after we finished the main course, Hans started the speeches for thanking the entire staff of the summer school thank gratefully the hotel crew for another wonderful and excellent stay in Karthaus. After finishing the final dessert it was again time for some performances. Hans and Gaëlle covered a glaciological version of the well known Beatles song Yesterday. Again it was an evening to remember and a good ending to a great summer school.
