SIKS Masterclass "Modeling and simulating work practice"

contact
Date: September 27th, 2001
Location: University of Amsterdam (exact location will be announced later)
Topic: The goal of the Masterclass is to inform SIKS Ph D students and other interested persons about work that has been done in the USA, particularly at NASA, in the area of modelling and simulating work practice at a level of detail that permits a more dynamic analysis and representation. The presentations will be given by Dr. William J. Clancey and Maarten Sierhuis (who will defend his thesis on this subject the next day). As is clear from the abstracts below, the Masterclass will be a mixture of theoretical and practical/operational issues. As the masterclass is part of the "advanced components stage" of SIKS' educational program, all SIKS- Ph.D- students are strongly encouraged to participate.
